2 Injured After Jumping From Busway During Chase In Wilkinsburg

WILKINSBURG (KDKA) -- Two teenage boys have been hospitalized after either jumping or falling more than 25 feet from the busway in Wilkinsburg.

The incident happened this afternoon at Wood Street and the Rowland connector.

One of the teens was found lying in the middle of Wood Street, which is below the busway, and the other was found on the sidewalk.

The teens say they were being chased by someone with a gun on the Rowland connector busway.

They were taken to Children's Hospital for treatment of leg and severe internal injuries. There's no word on the conditions of either teen.

There's also no word on who was chasing them or what prompted the incident.

Wilkinsburg Police are investigating.
