Irwin Woman, 2 Juveniles Arrested During Drug Bust

IRWIN (KDKA) -- An Irwin woman and two juveniles are facing charges following a drug bust at a Westmoreland County apartment complex on Wednesday.

According to North Huntingdon Police, 14 bricks or heroin, a small amount of marijuana, a gun and a large amount of money were found during the bust at the Villages of Easton Apartments in Irwin.

The woman, identified as 22-year-old Katelyn Jones, and the two juveniles, one from Penn Hills and the other from Turtle Creek, were taken into custody and are facing drug-related charges.

Jones is facing an additional count of endangering the welfare of children. Police say she had her 3-year-old daughter in her car when she was arrested.

Police say they are also filing gun violations against one of the juveniles in the case after the gun was found in his possession.

The two juveniles are being held in juvenile court pending a hearing. Charges against the two will be filed in juvenile court.
