Fire Reported At Iron City Brewery

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Fire crews were called to a fire at the Iron City Brewery Monday night.

There was reportedly smoke coming out of the building at 3340 Liberty Avenue in Lawrenceville.

Iron City beer production was moved to Latrobe, and there has been debate over what to do with the Lawrenceville building.

Firefighters are on scene and say there is fire inside some of the walls, as well as in the basement of the three-story building.

They were able to get the fire under control just before 11 p.m. Monday night.

Fire crews are looking into what caused the fire.
