Allegheny County Health Department Restaurant Reports

The Allegheny County Health Department shut down two local restaurants for major violations.

Mexico City on Wood Street was closed because an inspector found a sewage backup in the basement, fresh rat droppings and other critical safety violations.

Long John Silver’s in West View was also forced to close its doors because of a sewage backup in the kitchen.
