Bomb Squad Blows Up Suspicious Package In Shadyside

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The Pittsburgh Bomb Squad was called to Pittsburgh’s Shadyside neighborhood this morning over reports of a suspicious package.

Authorities were called to Westminster Place and South Aiken Avenue around 7:30 a.m.

The bomb squad blew up the item around 8:30 a.m.

There’s no word on what was found inside the package.

No injuries were reported.
