PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) – With the NFL Draft approaching, Steelers Insider Ed Bouchette weighed in with his thoughts on who he could see the Steelers taking.
“My pecking order would be (Jarvis) Jones, (Tyler) Eifert, now not my preference but what I think they’d do, (Kenny) Vaccaro and then (Cordarrelle) Patterson,” he said.
Bouchette also talked with Starkey, Miller and Mueller this afternoon about the fans excitement of drafting running back Eddie Lacy out of Alabama.
“Well they can go out and draft him, but the Steelers won’t,” he said. “Not at 17, that’s way too high. That would be reaching way too far.”
There are plenty of controversial players on the board ranging from Notre Dame’s Manti Te’o to LSU’s Tyrann “Honeybadger” Mathieu, and Ed told the guys whether or not the Steelers have any interest in bringing in those types of players.
