MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Heat won’t be back on the court until Monday, but the biggest question surrounding the team is the health of Dwyane Wade’s knees.

The Heat have won 41 of the team’s last 43 games and sealed up a four-game sweep of the Milwaukee Bucks last weekend. Still, the question of Wade’s sore right knee has been the topic of conversation as Wade missed the final game of the Bucks’ series.

Heat center Chris Bosh told FoxSportsFlorida.com fans shouldn’t be concerned about Wade’s right knee in the playoffs.

“I don’t think it’s anything to be concerned about,” Bosh said. “I think we’ve been in positions like this before. We’re very comfortable playing with making sure he’s getting where he needs to be.”

In Wade’s last game in the Bucks series, he was 1-12 from the field and was visibly in pain throughout parts of the game. Wade will have had more than a week off by the time the Heat take the court again on Monday for the opening game of the second round.

Without Wade, the Heat had little problems disposing of the Bucks. But in the second round, the Heat will be taking on either the Brooklyn Nets or the Chicago Bulls and moving forward, having Wade in the lineup will be crucial for the Heat’s success.

But it won’t be as crucial as it has been the past few years. LeBron James has proven himself more than able to carry the Heat and with the addition of Ray Allen along with Chris Bosh, Udonis Haslem, Mario Chalmers and the entire roster, Miami is in a much better position to withstand an injury.

Still, it’s a much easier climb for the Heat with Wade in the lineup. He was the team’s second-leading scorer this season and has been the heart and soul of the franchise since he first debuted with the team.

The Heat will play in Game 1 of the second round starting Monday. The Heat are currently 12 games away from claiming their second straight NBA championship.
