PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The new baby rhino at the Pittsburgh Zoo has a new name.
Janine was unveiled today and she got her name from zoo supporters Janine and Robert Fragasso.
The rhino was born on their wedding day.
She was the first black rhino born at the zoo in over 45 years.
You can visit baby rhino Janine during “Cinco de Rhino” celebrations at the zoo on Sunday, May 5, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There will also be a mariachi band and arts and crafts.
