Clogged Toilet Leads To Pot Bust
DICKSON CITY, Pa. (AP) - Police say a report of clogged plumbing in a northeastern Pennsylvania apartment building led to a drug bust.
Dickson City police and the city's fire department were called to the building early Friday morning because of reports that an overflowing toilet was causing flooding.
Police say upon arrival they discovered around a dozen marijuana plants inside the apartment with the clogged toilet. Police said they also found marijuana seeds, scales and drug paraphernalia.
Police arrested the tenant, 19-year-old Cody Turner. He is facing drug charges and is being held in the Lackawanna County Prison on $10,000 bail.
