Boy Charged With Killing Woman Wins In Superior Court
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A Lawrence County boy, found delinquent in the shooting death of his father's girlfriend and her unborn child won a major victory in superior court today.
The court ruled the delinquent ruling against 15-year-old Jordan Brown should be vacated, because there is not sufficient evidence to support the verdict.
Brown was originally sentenced to a juvenile treatment facility likely until his 21st birthday. He was just 11 years old when he was charged.
Brown is accused of fatally shooting his father's pregnant fiancé, 26-year-old Kenzie Houk, in 2009.
