Lawrenceville Carjacking Suspect Sought

LAWRENCEVILLE (KDKA) – Police are investigating a carjacking in Lawrenceville overnight.

According to police, the incident happened at the Sunoco gas station near the intersection of 40th Street and Penn Avenue around 2 a.m.

Police said a man approached the car with a gun and carjacked the driver. The suspect took off in a gold or bronze 2002 Cadillac Deville.

The license plate registered to the car is HGW-3001.

The suspect is described as being an African-American male standing about 5-feet-10-inches tall with braids.

There are no reported injuries.
