Police Chase Ends On Roof In Sheraden

SHERADEN (KDKA) – A late Wednesday night police chase ended on the roof of a home in Pittsburgh's Sheraden neighborhood.

According to police, the suspect began his run from police on Hillsdale Avenue around 11:30 p.m.

Officers eventually cornered the suspect in the 500-block of Hammond Street. However, the suspect ran up onto the roof.

Eventually, officers were able to talk him down and he was taken into custody.

It is believed that the chase began because the suspect did not want to deal with some type of traffic violation.

The suspect's name has not been released at this time.
