Uniontown Mother Overdoses With Children In Car

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Uniontown Police filed charges Thursday against a mother who they say passed out after overdosing on heroin with her two young children in the backseat.

It happened at the Uniontown Shopping Plaza on Morgantown Street Wednesday night.

Bystanders thought Clara Bass had suffered a heart attack.

However, when police arrived, they found a syringe in her arm.

Bass faces at least two counts of endangering the welfare of children.
