2 Charged In Fatal Knoxville Shooting
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police have arrested two suspects in the shooting death of a Knoxville man.
Khamal Fooks, 18, and Rayshon Shields, 21, are charged with criminal homicide and robbery in the death of 54-year-old Roger Griffin.
The shooting happened around 4:30 a.m. Friday at a home on Zara Street.
Griffin was found on the kitchen floor with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
He was pronounced dead at UPMC Mercy Hospital.
According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, police say a witness reported that Griffin allegedly wanted to buy heroin but the suspects demanded money.
Griffin was wounded when he tried to get away from the home, the Post-Gazette reports.
Fooks and Shields are being held in jail.
