Miller Wins 42nd District Pa. House Seat

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Democrat Dan Miller has won election to Pennsylvania’s 42nd District seat, replacing former Rep. Matt Smith who was elected to state Senate.

Miller competed for the seat against two other Pittsburgh residents: Republican nominee Dan Remely and computer engineer George Brown of the Libertarian Party.

Miller will complete his predecessor’s term, which runs through November 2014.
