Jay Caufield: Senators Shell-Shocked

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- ROOT Sports Penguins analyst Jay Caufield joined The Fan Morning Show on Thursday to recap the Penguins' 7-3 win over the Senators in Game 4 of the two teams' second-round playoff series Wednesday night.

Caufield thinks that the Sens simply look like a young team that might be out of luck against the seasoned Pens, which he sees the main reason for captain Daniel Alfredsson's expressed lack of confidence in his squad.

He broke down Kris Letang's up-and-down game, explaining that the Pens' star puck-moving defenseman can play in just about any situation, but may have an occasional defensive slip-up because of the way he plays.

The Pens lead the Sens 3-1 in their best-of-seven series, and the teams will play Game 5 Friday night in Pittsburgh.
