PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Pittsburgh police say a missing 3-month-old who was reportedly taken by her mother has been found.

The woman and child are identified as 31-year-old Micha Deshields and her 3-month-old daughter, Brenna Van Dusen.

Police say it all started as a domestic incident just after 6 p.m. in the 2400-block of Wylie Avenue in the Hills District. Investigators were called there for a report of a disorderly person.

According to police, the man who reported the incident told authorities that he has a protection from abuse order against Deshields and temporary custody of the baby.

Police say Deshields took the baby girl from the man’s custody and then fled the area.

Authorities searched the Pittsburgh area for Deshields and the little girl.

Both were located around 9 p.m. in the 200-block of Broad Street.

Police say they will file charges, including indirect criminal contempt.
