FORWARD TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – Two people were injured in an early Sunday morning accident that left two vehicles and two homes damaged in Forward Township.

According to police, the accident happened around 1 a.m. on Rainbow Run Road in Forward Township.

Investigators said two people inside the truck involved slammed into a parked truck. It was the impact that brought the owner of the truck outside and he could barely believe his eyes when he looked at the front of his house.

“We heard boom, boom, boom. I ran out front, opened the door up and yelled to my wife the front porch is gone and my truck’s gone and I hurried up and got dressed, came outside and found my truck sitting on the neighbor’s house sideways,” John Pearson said.

The two people in the have only been identified as a male and a female. They were transported by medical helicopter to a local hospital, but there is no word on their condition.

It is not clear what caused the accident and no one inside either home was injured.
