Motorcycle Officer Injured In Oakland

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A University of Pittsburgh police officer was injured in Oakland today while riding a motorcycle.

The incident happened at the intersection Forbes Avenue and Meyran Avenue just before noon.

According to emergency dispatchers, the officer was either struck by a vehicle or fell to the ground.

So far, there’s no word on the condition of the officer.
