Firefighters Battle Cranberry Twp. Blaze
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – Firefighters were called to the scene of an early Thursday morning fire in Butler County.
According to witnesses, the fire broke out around 3:30 a.m. in the 100-block of Woodbine Drive in Cranberry Township.
Firefighters were also forced to battle the elements as a strong line of storms moved through the area, which brought lightning and heavy downpours.
It is believed that a lightning strike caused the fire.
There are no reported injuries and the extent of the damage is unknown.
