LATROBE (KDKA) — Saint Vincent College is celebrating the completion of its new science center.
The Sis & Herman Dupre Science Pavilion opened to students in December, and on Friday the building was showcased to those who made it possible.
Many of the donors were on hand for the dedication.
“We’re here today to celebrate the completion of the $39 million Sis & Herman Dupre Science Pavilion at St. Vincent College,” said Don Orlando, of Saint Vincent College. “One of the finest, state-of-the-art education facilities in the United States at any small college.”
Herb Boyer, the founder of Genentech Corporation, was the speaker at the event.
