Pennsylvania American Water Asking Customers To Limit Usage
Pennsylvania American Water is asking customers to limit usage in Allegheny and Washington counties.
The alert comes after a power failure at the Becks Run Pumping Station.
Customers in Green Tree, Mount Lebanon, Baldwin, Baldwin Borough, Castle Shannon, Dormont and the City of Pittsburgh are asked to reduce indoor usage while repairs are made.
Customers also might experience no or low water pressure or cloudy water.
According to a press release, "Customers will be notified when the voluntary conservation notice is lifted, and updates will be provided through the Pennsylvania American Water website at under the Alert Notifications section."
