Thieves Target North Side Church For 5th Time Since November

NORTH SIDE (KDKA) – A North Side church was hit once again by a thief.

It’s the fifth time the Christian Fellowship Center Church of God in Christ has been hit since November.

The latest break-in happened sometime last week and it appears the thief used a crowbar to gain entry.

A sound system and a computer were stolen, while the pastor’s office was also ransacked.

“Part of our office space is in total disarray. Drawers have been pulled out of lock. They took a crowbar and busted the side door where they could get in,” Pastor Frank Tillman Jr. said.

The church is now installing security cameras.

This latest incident happened as the congregation observes its 20th anniversary.
