Man Evades DUI Checkpoint, Leads Police On Chase
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are looking for a man who led them on a chase late Friday night.
It started around 11:10 p.m. in East Deer Township when police say a man tried to evade a DUI checkpoint.
He then led police on a chase through Tarentum, Arnold and New Kensington, hitting several parked cars along the way.
Police were eventually able to divert him off of the road, but the man left his car and fled into a nearby wooded area.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 6 feet tall, 240 pounds and in his mid-40s.
