PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Even with reports that Kris Letang has agreed to an eight-year, $58 million deal with Pittsburgh, Troy Clardy has noticed that many Penguin fans don’t seem to think too highly of the Norris Trophy finalist.

Some fans aren’t sure that a new deal makes business sense, while others aren’t happy with Letang’s performance against the Boston Bruins and his style of play.

Still, Troy thinks he knows the real, deeper reason why many Penguins fans seemed to want Kris Letang to be dealt away: they’re still looking for a scapegoat to pay for Pittsburgh’s early exit.

Catch Troy Clardy Sunday mornings on Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan.
