Seven Fields Jewelry Store Robbers Sought

SEVEN FIELDS (KDKA) - Police are investigating a robbery at a jewelry store in Seven Fields Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, the robbery happened at Moses Jewelers around 2 p.m.

Cranberry Township Police said all but one of the suspects covered their face with a bandana as they busted the glass jewelry cases and made off with watches and rings.

"They ordered all the employees on the ground and began smashing cases and stole a number of watches and jewelry," Cranberry Township Police Sgt. Chuck Mascellino said.

Police said four jewelry cases were smashed and glass was everywhere as they responded within two minutes to the jewelry store in Seven Fields.

"They were in and out of the store, according to the employees, in about three minutes," Sgt. Mascellino said.

No customers were inside at the time, but the employees were shaken after the incident, reporting that one of the four or possibly five suspects had a gun.

"They did brandish at least one handgun that we're aware. Again, the video will help us determine if more weapons were involved. So, yeah, they were very frightened," Sgt. Mascellino said.

Moses Jewelers did not want to comment, and closed the shop indefinitely. As the investigation continues, employees were able to provide a vague description of a possible getaway car.

"We believe that it could have been a white, four-door sedan, newer model, possibly a Nissan Maxima," Sgt. Mascellino said.

Now, police are looking at surveillance footage of the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
