Walk on Wednesday: 'I Want Good Players'
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- Pirates color commentator and former pitcher Bob Walk joined The Fan Morning Show today for another edition of his weekly segment, "Walk on Wednesday."
With the non-waiver trade deadline coming at the end of the month, Walk thinks that the Bucs might be thinking about more than simply making the playoffs, since they're already likely to be a playoff team.
He understands the concern that trades could hurt team chemistry, but in his mind, the best way to foster good chemistry is to give yourself the best chance of winning.
He doesn't feel that the moves the team made last year adversely affected the clubhouse.
