AVALON (KDKA) – Dhaque Jones, 18, is facing charges after a 14-year-old girl was raped. Avalon Police said the teen called 911 just before 4:30 a.m. Saturday.
According to the police report, the girl said she knew Jones through Facebook and that Jones set her up with someone named “Kenny,” whom she agreed to meet.
Allegheny County Police report that Jones confessed after being questioned Tuesday.
The girl said the rape happened in a lot behind the Avalon Elementary School and her attacker held a gun to her head during the ordeal.
Witnesses played a crucial role in the investigation as well as Pittsburgh Police K-9 who discovered clothing allegedly belonging to Jones.
Jones is facing a list of charges including rape, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and unlawful restraint.
