Driver Rescued, Hospitalized After Interstate 79 Crash
CARNEGIE (KDKA) –One person was rushed to the hospital following an accident on Interstate 79 early Monday morning.
According to emergency dispatchers, the crash happened on the northbound side of the road near the Carnegie exit around 4:15 a.m.
The driver was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be rescued. They were transported to a local hospital, but there is no word on their condition at this time.
The cause of the crash is also unknown.
