Taking You Across The Pond For Royal Baby Watch

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) - Hints have been dropped all week about when we can expect the birth of the royal baby. Members of the Royal Family have made mention the baby may come as early as this week.

KDKA Radio's Bill Rehkopf of the Afternoon News talks with British broadcaster Ray Clark about what they are doing across the pond to prepare for the royal bundle of joy.

Clark tells us that reporters are camped out outside of the hospital where Prince William and Catherine's first child will be delivered.

However, the official first word about the baby's arrival won't come from social media.

"Officially, we won't learn by social media, we will learn by a blackboard and a piece of chalk," said Clark.

He goes on to say that this royal baby watch has spread worldwide and we all anticipate the birth of this future prince or princess.
