VERSAILLES (KDKA)- Two big trees and some power lines came down along Route 48 in Versailles on Tuesday.

As of 5 a.m. Wednesday, the road was still closed and police officers don’t expect it to open for a few more hours.

The trees came down around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.

Duquesne Light is on scene dealing with the downed wires. PennDOT was called in to help barricade the road.

Route 48 in Versailles is closed down from Center Street to the 4600-block of Walnut Street.

The borough also dealt with flooding in the lower part of town and power outages in the upper part of town.

There have been no injuries reported.
