Television Viewing Distance

All TVs are created differently, but they call can affect our vision if we sit too close. Dr. Frank recommends standing up and walking around after a few hours of watching television.

"Well, there's a formula that the industry uses basically they came out of the projection industry," said Dr. Frank. "But you don't want to be any further back than one and a half times the size of the diagonal. So if you're 60 inches, you don't want to be any further back than 60 plus 30 because then you no longer participate in the visual experience."

iPhone 6 Sneak Peek, Bluetooth Speakers

The iPhone 6 is bringing a new look along with new technology. Although Dr. Frank wouldn't get too specific with the details, he's confident that we will see the new phone soon enough.

The Eton Boost Turbine 2000 helps you make your own power to recharge your phone. This is a rechargeable USB battery pack with a hand turbine generator. The rechargeable 200mAh lithium battery needs to be cranked for one minute to produce enough power for a 30 second call or a few text messages.

Tablet Differences, Blueray Players

Have questions about what tablets to buy? Have laptops been surpassed by tablets? Dr. Frank uses both and thinks that there is a need for both of them. He explains that some people need the keys and others aren't really writing much. But he agrees that the desk tops are a thing of the past.
