Pitt's Scott Orndoff Discusses Life As Student-Athlete
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- Pitt freshman tight end Scott Orndoff joined The Fan Morning Show on Thursday to talk about preparing for the 2013 season, as well as about the team's recent visit to the Mel Blount Youth Home.
With the recent media craze surrounding Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel's offseason behavior in mind, the guys asked Orndoff what it's like to be an underclassman student-athlete. Unlike other freshmen, Orndoff enrolled in January (out of Seton-LaSalle), so has a good taste for college life thus far.
Orndoff also talked about the significance of the aforementioned charity work, which was profiled in an article by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Sam Werner.
