Woman Facing Charges After Dogs Found Abandoned In Home

AMBRIDGE (KDKA) -- A Beaver County woman is facing charges; accused of abandoning three dogs at a home in Beaver County.

Police say Jennifer Badger moved out of the home and is now living in Baden, but left one dog in a detached garage and two others in the basement of a home in Ambridge.

According to police, the animals were left without food, water or a way to cool off from the intense heat.

Authorities say temperatures inside the garage reached near 100 degrees and the dog left there was found severely dehydrated and lethargic.

Badger is facing summary offenses.

Police continue to investigate.

The Beaver County Humane Society will put the dogs up for adoption.
