Many Area Roads Closed Due To Flooding

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Another round of evening storms has left some areas flooded.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Washington and Westmoreland counties through 10 p.m.

Below are areas reported to be flooded:

-Duquesne: Route 837 near the Duquesne McKeesport Bridge is flooded.

-Kilbuck Township: Ohio River Boulevard at Toms Run Road.

-Monroeville: Pitcairn Road closed between Stroschein Road and Sugar Camp Park due to a mudslied and down power lines.

-Monroeville/Penn Hills: Old William Penn Highway closed at Thompson Run Road.

-Mt. Lebanon: Tree down in 1300-block of Terrace Drive.

-Mt. Lebanon: Wires down in 100-block of Castle Shannon Boulevard.

-Mt. Lebanon: Tree down at intersection of Cedar and Greenhurst drives.

-Pittsburgh: Banksville Road closed in both directions from Crane Avenue to outbound Parkway ramp.

-Pittsburgh: West Liberty Avenue at Capital Avenue, report of manhole cover off due to rain.

-Pittsburgh: Moderate puddling on Saw Mill Run Boulevard between Bausman and Whited.

-Pittsburgh: Reports of deep water getting near the Days Inn on Banksville Road.

-Robinson Township: Roadway flooding at Parkway Manor and Robinson Center Drive.

-Squirrel Hill: Beechwood Boulevard near Wladron next to Frick Blue Slide Park.
