Attempted Child Luring Incidents In Bobtown Investigated

BOBTOWN (KDKA) -- State police are investigating after reports of attempted child lurings in Greene County.

The incidents happened around 4 p.m. Monday on Main Street near the corner of Duff Street in Bobtown, Dunkard Township.

According to state police, there were two separate incidents. In one of the incidents, the suspect reportedly asked a child to get into his vehicle to show him where an address was.

In the other, police say he asked the child if he needed a ride.

The suspect is described as a white male around 50 years of age. He had salt and pepper hair and was wearing a gray baseball cap.

Police say he was driving a white Dodge van that didn't have any markings.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact State Police in Waynesburg.
