Fayette Co. Woman Found After Police Search

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A Fayette County woman reported missing over the weekend has been found.

Alice Conway, 32, or Smithfield, hadn't been seen since sometime Friday night or Saturday morning.

However, as of Monday night around 10:30 p.m., police said they had located Conway.

Police say that she has a mental disability and believed that she may have walked away from her care facility.

The Herald-Standard reports that multiple said they saw Conway lying in a cornfield near her care facility.

State Police also said they were able to track her scent using search dogs and thought she was within a 10-mile radius of the facility, according to the newspaper.

Police have not released any further details about where she was found how Conway was located.
