Pedestrian Struck By Train, Killed In Moon Twp.

MOON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A man was killed after being struck by a train in Moon Township Saturday afternoon.

The accident happened just after 4:40 p.m. near the Sewickley Bridge near University Boulevard.

According to officials at the scene, the man was walking along the tracks and didn't hear the train coming.

Officials say the train did stop at the scene.

Allegheny County detectives are investigating.
