Walk On Wednesday: Offensive Inconsistency Remains A Concern

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) — Former Pirates pitcher and current color commentator Bob Walk joined The Fan Morning Show live from St. Louis today for his weekly “Walk on Wednesday” interview.

Walk offered his take on some of the major turning points in the Pirates’ 14-inning loss to the Cardinals last night in St. Louis, such as Andrew McCutchen not running from third on a ground ball and Starling Marte dropping a routine fly ball with the Bucs closing in on a victory.

Walk noted that the Pirates squandered numerous opportunities to win last night’s game, and said that he’s a little worried about the effect that offensive consistency could have on this team down the stretch.

“Walk on Wednesday” can be heard every Wednesday on The Fan Morning Show at 8:40 a.m.
