Paul Zeise: Have To Wonder Why Pirates Stood Pat
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- Paul Zeise opened up his show on Sunday night by questioning the merits of the Pirates hitting corps after their 16-inning 4-2 loss to the Diamondbacks.
He feels that this offense has been inadequate at many points this season, and he questions the wisdom of Neal Huntington standing pat at the trade deadline if the decision was based on hoping that guys get hot or turn things around.
