Latrobe Citizens Bank Robbed By Man With A Note

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are looking for the man who robbed the Citizens Bank in Latrobe Friday.

It happened around 11 a.m. at the bank located on Ligonier Street.

Police say the man went to a teller, using a note to demand money.

As the teller went to get cash, he went to a second teller and demanded more cash.

A witness eating lunch at the Sheetz across the street said they saw the man leave and go to a waiting getaway car.

As the suspect was getting into the car, the dye pack exploded and he and the driver took off with the money.

It’s unclear how much money they got away with.

Investigators have also released surveillance photos of the suspect.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

UPDATE: On Saturday, police released additional photos of the suspect while he was in the lobby of the bank.

Stay with KDKA for more information.
