Furry Tails: Searching For A Forever Home (8/28)
Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I’ll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!
Western Pa. Humane Society
This adorable blue and white, 3-year-old pit bull is looking for a good home! Tasha came to the Humane Society when her former owners moved away.
According to the Humane Society, Tasha would do well in a home where she is an “only child,” as she is a bit uncomfortable with other dogs. She tends to be a little afraid of them.
But Tasha loves people and playing with toys. She also walks very nicely on a gentle leader.
This pit bull is also pretty smart! She’s been through obedience training at the Misty Pines Dog Park and has all the basics down.

Morrison is a sweet, little white rabbit who is looking for a forever home! Animal Friends calls him their handsome gentleman with his soft, white fur and pretty violet eyes.
As for his personality, 7-year-old Morrison is dynamic. He enjoys people and gets along with other laid-back bunnies.
He’s been neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
Animal Friends says he would fit into almost any home. They are looking for a place where he can run and explore his surroundings. Someone has even sponsored his donation.
