PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) — Pro Football Hall of Fame member, former Pitt standout, and current NFL on CBS analyst Dan Marino joined The Fan Morning Show on Thursday with the NFL season drawing near and Pitt’s season opener against Florida State just days away.

Marino joined the guys just moments before leaving for Pittsburgh, where he will throw out the first pitch at tonight’s Pirates game and be on-hand for the grand opening of a new Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza in McMurray.

He told the guys that he was a great baseball player in high school and almost got drafted to play baseball. Understandably, he feels that he made the right decision.

He also talked about his old alma mater Pitt joining the ACC, his Dolphins’ prospects for the 2013 season, and his thoughts on the 2013 Steelers.
