Threat Prompts Mall At Robinson Evacuations

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — The Mall at Robinson was evacuated Saturday morning following a bomb threat.

Police say someone found a note in a bathroom at the food court.

The mall was evacuated while police did a thorough search of the building.

Nothing suspicious was found.

A Mall at Robinson spokesperson released this statement: “Following the incident at The Mall at Robinson earlier today, we have been working with, and will continue to work closely with, local authorities to help them with their investigation. The safety of our guests, employees and tenants is our top priority and we evacuated the Mall immediately to allow authorities to complete their investigation. The authorities have determined the property to be safe and clear of any threats.”

The mall has since reopened.
