Baldwin Man Turns Love Of Magic Into Successful Career

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- "I'm just going to weave these cards together and if you watch the ink, it says KD Country four times on the deck of cards."

Magician/sleight-of-hand artist Lee Terbosic shows KDKA's Dave Crawley the tricks of his trade, including an ability to spell words on the side of a deck of cards.

The Baldwin native is a master of card tricks, with shows coming up at Bricolage Theater in the Cultural District. Appropriately, he calls the show "52 Up Close."

He says he got hooked on magic tricks at the age of 12.

"I was able to take this and turn it into a career, and perform across the country, doing magic tricks and card tricks, and entertaining at corporate functions, and college campuses," said Terbosic. "It's been a blast!"

But it's not all card tricks.

Referring to a chest perched on a wooden desk, he says, "I will show you the trick, Dave, but you'll have to turn the cameras off."

After all, he has to leave something for the paying audience.

Lee's show opens Wednesday night.
