O is for Oakmont!  Larry and John did a live broadcast of the morning news and Bill Rehkopf did a live broadcast of the Afternoon News on Friday, October 25th from the Oakmont Bakery.

6:00 am- Doughsánts

The Sophisticated Pastry!- The Doughsant – is it a donut or a croissant? Yes and Yes!  Cinnamon with CreamCheese frosting – Custard – Pittsburgh cream – Oakmont cream – or the original version simply dipped in honey glaze.

7:00am- Old fashioned Honey Glazed Donuts Don’t look for a “HOT” sign just come on in!   $5 per dozen 7AM – 8AM.

8:00am- Pumpkin spice cake donuts rolled in honey glazed or topped with rich cream cheese frosting. 50 cents each or $5 per dozen.

9:00 am Breakfast on an incredible bagel. 28 varieties of bagels made from scratch and boiled for that perfect crunch.

Freshly baked eggs-boar’s Head Bacon and a slice of your favorite cheese with your favorite coffee or espresso drink for $4 until 11:00am.

11:00am- Old Fashioned Chocolate Chip Cookies- An oversized rich cookie loaded with chocolate chips and a touch peanut buttery goodness. $1 each.

12:00pm- An Oakmont Bakery Sandwich made on freshly baked Artisan bread Boar’s Head meats and cheeses.

3:00pm- Pumpkin Pie- Grandma’s recipe – the creamiest pumpkin filling with the perfect blend of fall spices in a flakey scratch pie crust. $2 off.

4:00pm-Overstuffed Pepperoni Bread- Oakmont Bakery Artisan Italian bread dough rolled out and layered with pepperoni and a mix of our neighborhood Lamagna provolone and mozzerella cheeses. $3.50 Hot from the ovens!

5:00pm- A loaf of Everything Bread- Italian bread chopped with ham, pepperoni, broccoli, hot banana peppers and 3 cheeses. Hot from the ovens $3.

6:00pm- Fall for Dessert in the café with Bill.

O is also for Oakland! On Saturday, October 19th NewsRadio 1020 KDKA celebrated Oakland.  Also, tune in on Tuesday, November 19th at Noon with Mike Pintek as he broadcasts live from the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum.
