Police: Suspect Hits Man With Baseball Bat, Smears His Blood On Car

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – One person is charged after allegedly fighting, hitting a person with a baseball bat then smearing their blood inside a car.

It happened in Venango Township off of Jamison Road around 11:30 p.m. Friday night.

Police say 28-year-old Shane Burns of Harrisville got into a fight with a man and a woman.

Burns then allegedly hit the man with a baseball bat, causing a severe head wound and then smeared his blood inside the woman’s car.

The man was later flown to the hospital.

It’s unclear what prompted the fight.

No word on the victim’s condition.
