Hundreds Fill Downtown To Celebrate African American Heritage Day
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – It was a celebration of African American heritage Saturday in downtown Pittsburgh.
Hundreds marched in the annual parade.
There were bands, dancers, motorcycle groups and vintage cars.
Parade goers say the event sends a positive message.
"To give support to not only black Americans, but everyone all over this country because we all need each other to survive," said Linda Wells of Highland Park.
This was the 25th year for the African American Heritage Day parade.
