Pirates Trade Welker As Part Of Morneau Deal
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The deal that landed the Pirates Justin Morneau is now complete.
The team has traded pitcher Duke Welker to the Minnesota Twins as part of the deal to acquire Morneau Aug. 31.
The Pirates also traded outfield Alex Presley to the Twins as part of the same deal.
