Police Investigating Menacing Crank Calls To Sheetz Store

WESTMORELAND COUNTY (KDKA) -- State police are investigating a series of crank phone calls at an Indiana County Sheetz store.

The calls began last Tuesday and have escalated.

Both a man and a woman have been making the calls.

Police say the first few calls were harmless, but later calls turned vulgar.

The most recent call was a death threat.

No particular employee appears to be targeted and no one has been physically harmed.

Police say they are taking this cases seriously and will prosecute those responsible to the fullest extent.
